Someone Is Selling Votes For DJ Mag Top 100 DJ Poll

UK dance music magazine DJ Mag can’t get a break when it comes to their annual Top 100 DJ Poll. Last year, the ever vocal Peaches said that the poll could “eat a dick” when no female DJs appeared on the list of mostly mainstream house and trance jocks. Today, URB received an e-mail from the inbox of a major global superstar DJ that offered to let any DJ buy votes via eBay.

The company, calling itself Promotional Service 2000 is offering up packages of 100, 500 or 1000 votes at a time. The eBay  link goes on to claim “Latest year we helped two DJs to go on the top 100, and many others had a great classification.” It even promises “No Disqualification,” as well as the all important “Your image will stay clean.”

Perhaps some DJ gal with some cash will purchase some votes this year, correcting last year’s flagrant omission of any ladies.
