This shirt is a tribute to the genre of “Detroit Techno” and it’s roots. Look closely at the shirt and you’ll see pictures of Juan Atkins (a member of the Belleville 3), a Roland keyboard, old tape cassettes, Derrick May’s record label, his hit track “Strings Of Life” and so on and so forth. There are a bunch of other little items buried within the design. We hope you enjoy the detail within this design.
We use only very high quality American Apparel tee shirts. There is a 50/50 blend of cotton and polyester that is light, slightly fitted, and very comfortable. Our shirts and tank tops are manufactured and designed in America utilizing fair labor practices – most brand’s shirts and tank tops aren’t. We think it’s important to support brands who don’t utilize cheap products manufactured in countries where slave labor is supported and even endorsed. On top of that, we are the only brand in the world that focuses entirely (and only) on the genres of house music, techno, trance, D&B, nu-disco, dubstep, and trap. So, support our movement if this represents your musical interests, as well as your different ideologies. Or, if you just like the fact that you don’t see designs like these in big box stores……Music Is A Gift
